My Attorney Isn’t Getting Back To Me - Help!

Has your attorney gone radio silent during your high conflict divorce or child custody battle?

When you’re battling against a narcissist in family court, the last thing you need is an unresponsive attorney.

What Should I Do If My Attorney Isn’t Responding To Me?

Unfortunately, this all-too common scenario puts victim-survivors in an anxiety-inducing, disempowered state.

If you’re attorney isn’t responding, please consider the following points:

  • Your attorney works FOR you. If they are consistently unresponsive, it is your right to hire a different attorney.

  • If you are sending your attorney general legal questions, you may be able to find answers from your own research. This will also save you money in attorney’s fees.

  • Many attorneys have paralegals that may be more responsive than the attorney.

  • A Certified High Conflict Divorce Coach can help you find resources and information to help you answer your questions or know what questions to ask while interviewing attorneys to make sure you’re hiring an attorney that meets your needs.

You ALWAYS Have Options

For many victim-survivors, the battlefield may just feel like another disempowering, silencing space.

Please know that you ALWAYS have options. You are not stuck with the first attorney you hire. You are always allowed to ask questions. Find support so that you feel empowered in the process of hiring or rehiring an attorney.

A Certified High Conflict Divorce Coach can help you in this process.
